The network marketing online blueprint

So I’ve been busy dabbling on a project called “Operation:
Get mum famous” and I’ve been tinkering away on a blog for her and thought
I’d write about it seeing as it’s mega!!

Here’s a screen shot from the blog

So network marketing online blueprint is all about building
an audience and providing that audience with stuff that will help them in
whatever it is that you’re making content about in my mum’s case; helping other
network marketers achieve success with their business.

My main aim with this project is to help my mum gain an
online presence, while at the same time creating and developing relationships
with people.

I’ve heard it so many times “the money is in the
list” and I think that’s a load of rubbish.  The money isn’t in the list it’s in the value
that you provide to the list.

The amount of value that you put into the marketplace is
directly proportional to the amount of money that you can make.  So…

Let’s think about how we can provide value in the
marketplace as a network marketer.

Network marketing is all about experiencing something, a
product or service and then recommending that experience on.

It can be broken down into two separate entities.  One would be to “fix the problem”
whether that by having a healthy diet or saving money on energy.  The second would be to show other people,
firstly how they can fix the problem, and secondly how they can make money
doing the same.

Network marketing is an excellent business model because the
companies that use a network marketing model are paying their distributors or
agents in commissions from the sales that they generate and not spending their profits
on advertising.

If one of their sales people aren’t bringing in business
then they’re not getting paid.

That said then, this post is going to look at how you could
use the internet as a tool for providing more value to your customers and sponsored
down line.

In my mum’s case, we decided to go for the vlog (video blog)
option as she hates typing.  Plus, video
has a much higher conversion rate than text meaning people actually watch
videos and don’t necessarily read that much.

Branding

The branding aspect is very important because that is what
people are going to remember.

Seeing as we were going for a vlog site, my mum’s videos
needed some form of intro video (my thinking is that it would make my mum’s
blog seem like a TV channel – this is important in developing trust, brand
awareness and authority online).

Here’s the first video that we published

Not only is it important to have good branding surrounding
your idea, it’s also very important to have some form of continuity between
platforms that you use such as a website, your blog, twitter or Facebook.

By being consistent with your branding and content, you’ll find
it hard to not draw attention to yourself in the long run, and that’s what it’s
all about.

Social Media and the
network marketing online blueprint

Social media is really important but so many people look to
it for the wrong reason.

Social media is a tool for bringing in new business but you
shouldn’t look at it that way.  The same
rules apply online as they do off line.
Usually someone has to at least know you before they’ll engage in open conversation
with you.

The best way to get anywhere is to get people talking about
you.

Social media is a way for you to share your ideas, dreams,
goals, plans, pretty much anything and it’s done in an environment where everyone
is friends.

 Businesses all over
the world are investing more and more into their social media and quite rightly
so.

As the world shifts from the industrial age into the information
age, and as technological developments and applications make our life easier,
it’s becoming more and more obvious that those that aren’t riding the wave, are
going to be left behind.

Things that you need
to make your business tick.

A venue to host your content.

Branded social media profiles to suit.

Integration between your blog and social media.

An email list powered by email marketing software.

Once that’s all in place, all you’ve got to do is occasionally
post content to your blog and spend a bit of time getting people to read it.

Site work

So I’m currently working at making the paintballing centre by mine look proper bad ass!

I hated the cam nets on the stage!! I had dreams about painting it and finally got round to getting it done this week.

This is what the stage used to look like…

I stripped all of that stupid cam netting and painted the stage black. Notice also the cam netting in the background. That was done by Jonny G and looks proper bo!

Here’s the picture of the stage now…

I’ve still got to get round to painting the floor but you get the picture!!

What’s the point?

This is a conversation that I had with someone on the phone the other day…

Tracey: Hi this is Tracey from bla bla bla marketing agency, an independent market research company working with Natwest, is it convenient to ask you some questions about the account you recently set up with Natwest?

Me: Err ye, sort of…

Tracey: OK brilliant, just to let you know that these calls are recorded for training and quality purposes…

Me: …Can I just ask you a question?

Tracey: Yes of course!

Me: What is this call about because I was called the other day by someone from Natwest in relation to the account.

Tracey: OK well this call is in relation to the call you had the other day with James from Natwest. Like I said we are an independent market research company and we are calling today to find out how your call went with James.

Me: errr OK

Tracey: Now don’t worry you don’t have to give me any personal information over the phon….

Me: So let me get this straight, I went into Natwest to set up a bank account which I did without a problem. I then got an unnecessary call from James who asked me a load of questions about how the setting up of my account went, how they could improve the service etc and now you’re calling me to find out how my phone conversation with James went?

Tracey: Yes

Me: Is someone going to be calling me again asking me how this conversation went?

The Terminator

This is the dude that we send out to battle customers on the weekends. This photo was taken after a battle with 62 people on “Speedball,” our most confined game zone.

Note: the terminator isn’t scared of getting hit by paintballs. If you take him on you will get hurt!!

Take a look at delta force paintballing for a special discount offer which works anywhere in the UK :)
